Medical Concerns & Emergencies
This course is not intended to diagnose or treat medical conditions. If your baby experiences concerning symptoms, worsening symptoms, feeding difficulties, breathing issues, lethargy, fever, seizures, injury, or any medical emergency, contact your pediatrician or emergency medical services immediately.
Contraindications
Do not perform techniques demonstrated in this course if your baby has:
A known medical condition without approval from a healthcare provider
Acute illness or fever
Recent injury or surgery
Difficulty breathing
Fragile medical status
Any condition where movement or touch has been restricted by a medical professional
Premature infants, medically complex infants, or infants under medical care should only participate with clearance from their healthcare provider.
